Shahid Kapoor shares relationship advice he'd give to Priyanka Chopra

When Bollywood stars enter into a relationship with a co-star, they have to be prepared for it to be a part of the gossip mills, when they are dating, but even after they break up. That’s the reason the appearances of two stars, who were in a relationship before, at the same event, makes headlines. Moreover, they are asked about their exes in interviews or other events. Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra were rumoured to be dating around the release of Kaminey, but today, both of them have moved on in their lives and are happily married. The former had a message for his rumoured ex and her husband Nick Jonas, when asked about it on a recent show. He stated that it was important for the duo to understand each other’s cultures since they came from diverse cultures.

Shahid Kapoor’s comment came on No Filter Neha, the fourth season of which is being hosted by Neha Dhupia at the moment. And with the format of a chat show being based on fun and quirky situations, questions over relationships and other stars are common. The actor was asked about the relationship advice he'd give to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. The Kabir Singh star then responded, "Understand each other's backgrounds as well as you can, because you're from very different backgrounds."

It was only recently that Nick’s post for Priyanka Chopra on the occasion of Karwa Chauth had made headlines. The singer had expressed pride about his wife being an Indian and a Hindu. And how PeeCee had taught him about the various Indian traditions and how it brought happiness in their lives.

On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra too, had got involved in the American traditions. She celebrated Thanksgiving or being excited about the SuperBowl along with her in-laws. One can say that Shahid’s advice had already been followed by the couple. 

Shahid Kapoor also had a relationship advice for another duo who is close to him. His half brother Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor are being rumoured to be dating. Shahid said that it was important for them to balance their professional and personal spaces well.
