Simpsons-ised Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas portraits Wow fans but also raise questions

The Simpsons fever is currently going viral on the internet. After David Beckham, Indian actress Priyanka Chopra on Tuesday, December 25, shared a couple of pictures on Instagram featuring herself and husband Nick Jonas in their 'Simpson' avatar. The couple of pictures shared by the actress appears to be a recreation of their wedding photographs as in the first picture represents them in their Christian wedding attires and the second one in their Indian traditional outfits. Priyanka shared the post on Instagram and captioned them saying, "Love #simpsons"

The doodled recreations have received huge admiration on the Internet however, many has questioned to why Priyanka is colour-toned in the Indian wedding caricature while Nick was featured in regular yellow.

Meanwhile, many of them also suggested that Nick looks very similar to F.R.I.E.N.D.S. characters Ross Geller, played by David Schwimmer.  

Priyanka and Nick got hitched in two elaborate ceremonies at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. On December 1, they exchanged vows as per Christian traditions and on December 2 they tied the knot as per Hindu wedding rituals.

As per media reports, artistic re-creations are not from the official source but are created by artist Rino Russo and Stefano Monda. Nick's brother Joe Jonas has also shared a 'Simpson version' picture of him and his girlfriend Sophie Turner on Instagram, a few days earlier.
