Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are officially married. The couple registered their marriage in the attendance of their loved ones today. The newlyweds twinned in white for the ceremony and exuded happiness. Shatrughan Sinha was also spotted in the first wedding photos. Sonakshi shared first photos from her wedding and captioned the post, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife.”

She further wrote, “Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever ❤️Sonakshi ♾️ Zaheer. 23.06.2024.”

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, had completed the legal formalities required for their civil marriage at the bride's new apartment, 81 Aureate, which is located near the Rang Sharda Auditorium at Bandra West, Mumbai.

The post-wedding party of actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will be a star-studded affair, with DJ Ganesh performing at the lavish reception. In a viral video, we can see DJ Ganesh (Ranganathan) opening up about performing at the reception that will be held at the upper-crust Mumbai restaurant, Bastian, on Linking Road, Bandra West. The restaurant, owned by Shilpa Shetty, is now helmed by the formerly New York-based Michelin-starred celebrity chef, Suvir Saran.

Just days before the wedding, Sonakshi and Zaheer celebrated with their closest friends. Sonakshi shared glimpses of the party on social media, including a picture with her close friend Huma Qureshi. Zaheer was also seen enjoying time with Sonakshi's father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha.
