Sood's comments come at a time when the newcomers are being brutally trolled for their performances in the recent releases. The backlash even reignited the nepotism debate in the industry with social media users alleging that ‘insiders’ get an easy and unfair chance in Bollywood. The Dabangg actor's comment also comes after a Pakistani critic claimed that Ibrahim Ali Khan personally messaged him after he shared a negative review of his film Nadaaniyan.

Did Ibrahim Ali Khan lash out at Pakistani critic for Nadaaniyan's negative review?

Taking to his Instagram handle, Tamur Iqbal, a Pakistani critic, shared a screenshot of his chat, alleged with Ibrahim Ali Khan. He had posted his review on Story and tagged the actor. Reacting to the same, Ibrahim allegedly penned a long message threatening him to make him "uglier" tha he is. "Tamur almost like Taimoor… you got my brother’s name. Guess what you don’t got? His face. You ugly piece of trash. Since you can’t keep your words to yourself, don’t bother, they’re irrelevant just like you. Ugly goddamn piece of shit I feel bad for you and your family – and if I see you on the streets one day, I’ll make sure I leave you uglier than you are – you walking piece of scum," the message in the screengrab read.

On reading his message, Tamur dropped a rather calm reply admitting that his 'nose job' criticism was in bad state. "Hahahahaha see that’s my man. This is the guy I want to see in the movie. Not that fake cornetto mushy cringy human. But hey yes that nose job comment was in bad taste. Rest I totally own up. Massive fan of your dad, don’t let him down," he wrote. However, Republic World couldn't independently verify the authenticity of the screengrab.
