Stree 2: Shraddha To Protect Villages With 'Kaali Taaqat'? New Posters, Trailer Release Date Out

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are eagerly awaiting the release of her upcoming horror-comedy movie Stree 2. A few days ago, the makers unveiled the teaser, offering the first glimpse of the horror flick. Now, they are set to release the trailer in the coming two days. Ahead of this, Shraddha took to her social media handle to share intriguing posters on her social media handle.

A look at the intriguing posters of Stree 2

Taking to her Instagram handle, Shraddha shared a set of three photos, hinting that the actress will return to once again protect the people of Chanderi. The first poster features a hand holding a braid in a firm grip, a significant element in the film’s narrative. The braid seemed to be glowing with lightning and a scary shadow was visible in the background. The poster had the tagline “O Stree raksha karna (O Stree protect us)” along with the film’s title and the line “Sarkate ka aatank (Sarkate’s terror).”

In the next two posters, what appears to be Shraddha faces the woman in a veil, holding her glowing long braid. While Shraddha's face is not visible as her back is towards the camera, we can see her holding her braids and trying to attack the veil-clad woman with her braid, which seems to possess some powers. "Kaali taaqat se sabki raksha karne woh aa rahi hai bas 2 din mein! #Stree2 Trailer Out In 2 Days!," caption of one of the posters read.

What else do we know about Stree 2

In the first part of the film, which was released in 2018, Shraddha’s character dropped hints about her identity by using the braid of the Stree (the ghost) on herself, intriguing viewers and leaving them wondering if she was a ghost. Now, when the makers dropped the teaser of the sequel, they didn't reveal much about her character just showed her looking angrily at someone.

The sequel has been directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios. It also stars Flora Saini, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in key roles. The movie is slated to release on August 15.
