Sunny Deol recalls crying, laughing at the same time on Gadar 2 release day
Sunny Deol is enjoying the success of his recently released film Gadar 2, also starring Ameesha Patel. The film crossed the Rs 130 crore mark at the box office.

Sunny Deol is basking in the success of his recently released film Gadar 2. On Monday, the actor and the film's director Anil Sharma attended the press conference in Mumbai, celebrating the success of the 2001 film sequel. During the event, the actor recalled that on the night of the release date, he was constantly crying.

'I was crying and laughing all night,' says Sunny Deol
Recalling the day when the film hit the theatres (August 11), Sunny Deol said that he was quite stressed after seeing the efforts of people in making the film. However, when the film released, at that moment, he felt like a god came inside him, and he started crying and laughing at the same time.
“Jab ye lagi film, uss waqt mujhe pata nahi kyu aisa laga jaise Rab(God) mere andar aagaya. Meri poori shaam aur raat ko roye jaa raha tha, hasse ja raha tha. Aur mein Papa(Dharmendra) ko bhi mila aur maine bola Papa maine daaru nahi pee. Main khush hu, mein kya karu, mein paagal hogaya. (I was crying and laughing all night and evening. I also met my father and said I am not drunk it's just I am happy what do I do.)"

Sunny Deol concluded by singing the viral song from his movie Main Nikla Gaddi Leke and added a twist towards the end. He sang, "Main nikla gaddi leke... ik mod aaya... uththe mere naal mera rab aa gaya.”

Gadar 2 is ruling the box office
The film which is the sequel to 2001 Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, was released on August 11 and since then it has been ruling the box office. Despite witnessing a clash with Akshay Kumar's OMG 2, the film has earned Rs 134.88 crore in India. Owing to this, it has become the third-highest weekend grosser of all time after Pathaan and KGF Chapter 2 (Hindi).
