Sunny Singh has been busy shooting for his next film Risky Romeo in Kolkata for one and a half months. On Saturday, December 16, the actor announced the film wrap on his social media handle and revealed that the film is close to his heart. He thanked the director Abir Sengupta for offering him a character that he thoroughly enjoyed playing.

Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a series of photos celebrating the film wrap and penned a heartfelt note expressing that he feels "extremely fulfilled". Apart from Sunny, Risky Romeo also stars Kriti Kharbanda in a pivotal role. The actor's note read, "Feeling fulfilled after wrapping the shoot for a film which is very close to my heart #riskyromeo. Thank you @abirsenguptaa for offering me a character that I thoroughly enjoyed playing. He signed off by writing, "Can’t wait to share with the audiences the magic that we have captured on celluloid."

Sunny Singh opens up about Risky Romeo

The actor opened up about his experience shooting the film and said that he feels the genre of the upcoming film is completely unexplored. Sunny added that it was a bold step to showcase emotions in a different way through it. "I usually do not get offered characters like this and only when I started shooting I realised what Abir had seen in me and offered me such a different character. The genre of this film is completely unexplored in our industry and it’s a bold step towards showcasing emotions in a very different way,” the actor said.

“And the city that Abir has chosen to film Risky Romeo is adding to the magic of the story. I cannot wait for the audiences to experience what we experienced while shooting the film," concluded the actor.

The makers are yet to announce the release date of the film.
