Viral: Pregnant Deepika Padukone Walks Cautiously At Crowded Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant's Sangeet

The who's who of the film industry descended at the NMACC, Jio World Convention Center in BKC, Mumbai on July 5 for the sangeet of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. While the red carpet was laid out for Bollywood celebs to pose before they entered the venue, Deepika Padukone managed to lay low and evade the paparazzi. However, an inside video of the the actress, who is expecting he first child with Ranveer Singh, has gone viral. In it, she could be walking around cautiously as the crowd surrounded her.

Before attending the function, Deepika took to Instagram and shared her pictures in which she could be seen flaunting her baby bump. The Jawan star looked as regal as ever in a purple saree. She elevated her look with a sleek bun and a choker necklace.

At the venue, while Ranveer performed and danced his heart out to several Bollywood hits, mom-to-be- Deepika took a back seat among the guests and was seen cheering after the acts ended. A video of her has also gone viral in which she walked around cautiously inside the venue. Unlike the Jamnagar pre-wedding festivities of Anant and Radhika, Deepika chose not to perform at the sangeet ceremony. She was enjoying away from the stage.

What's lined up for Deepika Padukone?

Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy in March this year and shared that they are expecting the birth of their baby in September. Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika is being lauded for her role in Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD. The sci-fi film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Disha Patani. The film has grossed over ₹800 crore at the worldwide box office in 9 days since its release on June 27.

She is expected to begin filming for The Intern Bollywood remake opposite Amitabh Bachchan after her delivery.
