Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are all set to tie the knot today, July 12 in Mumbai. Much like their pre-wedding festivities, the main day is expected to be a star-studded affair as well. Dignitaries from the entertainment, sports, politics and world of business are expected to be present at the bash. However, some celebrities are likely to skip the wedding, because of personal and professional commitments. 

Akshay Kumar to skip the wedding because of COVID-19 

On July 12, the day of the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, it was reported that Akshay Kumar had contracted the coronavirus. While the actor himself has not confirmed the same, media reports suggest that he is down with the infection due to which he might not make his presence at the wedding ceremony. Akshay Kumar has also been keeping away from the public eye despite his film Sarfira hitting theatres today. 
 

Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma out of country

Immediately after the recent World Cup T20 victory on June 29, Virat Kohli along with other Indian cricketers arrived in India to celebrate the historic win. However, soon after meeting the Prime Minister in the National Capital and greeting fans in Mumbai, the former Indian team skipper took a flight and travelled outside the country. While the destination of his travel was unknown, several reports claimed that he was travelling to London where his wife Anushka Sharma and children Vamika and Akaay reside. If reports are to be believed Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have already relocated to London, which is why are expected to give the Anant-Radhika wedding a miss. 

Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan vacationing in Europe 

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have been enjoying their time away from the limelight on a vacation to Italy. Given that the couple and their family were not spotted arriving in Mumbai yet, it is likely that they too will miss the grand celebration of Anant and Radhika's union. However, the couple has not confirmed their absence yet.
