War Movie: "Tiger inspired me to lose weight", says Hrithik Roshan

The release date of War is just a few days away. Excited fans are eagerly waiting for the movie to release. War is the first movie featuring the two action stars Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Both the actors are very well known for their dancing skills and their power-packed action moves. In the movie, Hrithik and Tiger are seen doing some death-defining stunts and are each other's rivals.

Hrithik Roshan opens up about working with Tiger Shroff

The stars of War are on a promotion spree. In a famous comedy show, lead cast of the film — Tiger Shroff, Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor appeared to promote their film. During the show, Hrithik Roshan spoke about working with Tiger Shroff. Tiger, who thinks of Hrithik Roshan as his "guru", spoke about how he supposedly had motivated Hrithik Roshan to lose weight. Hrithik mentioned that he has gained weight after his last film Super 30, which is based on an inspirational story of a mathematician Anand Kumar and his educational program Super 30.

Hrithik revealed that after Super 30, his waist size was around 38 inches and when he started working with Tiger was an inspiration for Hrithik to lose weight and make his waist size 30 inch again. In the show where Hrithik spoke about Tiger Shroff, Tiger also revealed that he was excited and nervous to be working with his childhood hero Hrithik Roshan. Tiger also mentioned that he attended numerous workshops and read up on literature to prepare for his role and be his best in front of Hrithik Roshan.

War movie directed by Siddharth Anand will release worldwide on October 2, 2019. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film will release in three languages viz Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
