Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan is set to get married to her fiance Nupur Shikhare tomorrow, January 3. Now, ahead of an intimate wedding, the veteran actor's house in Mumbai was all lit up with colourful lights for the occasion. Even, Reena Dutta's, Aamir's first wife and Ira's mother, residence was decked up with fiery lights.

A video is going viral on the internet in which Aamir Khan has decorated the two floors of his house beautifully with fairy lights. The pre-wedding preparations are currently happening at Reena Dutta's residence in Mumbai which will be followed by an intimate wedding ceremony on January 3 and conclude with a court marriage.

Nupur proposed to Ira during a triathlon in Italy in September 2022, followed by an official engagement party in Mumbai in December 2022 attended by Aamir Khan, Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao and Fatima Sana Sheikh, among others. Soon after, Aamir and his ex-wife Reena were snapped in the city, at a jewellery store for their daughter's wedding. Last year in November, Ira shared a glimpse of her pre-wedding celebrations, by dropping a bunch of pictures from her Kelvan and Ukhana ceremonies, Marathi rituals. The families of the bride and groom invite each other for meals and exchange gifts in this ceremony.

Ira later revealed that her cousin Zayn Marie would officiate her wedding to Nupur. According to the sources, the couple will host a lavish reception in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where the entire industry will be invited.

Ira is the daughter of Aamir and his first wife, Reena Dutta. She has a brother named Junaid. Aamir and Reena had announced their separation in 2002.
