Alanna Panday, Ananya Panday's cousin, tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Ivor McCray last year in March. In February, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child on social media. Well, the day has arrived, they are now proud parents to a baby boy. Soon after they dropped a post announcing the arrival, Massi (aunt) Ananya couldn't keep calm and immediately took to her social media handle to express her excitement.

On early Monday, Alanna shared a reel on her Instagram handle announcing the birth of her son. The video opens with Ivor entering the frame and gesturing for Alanna to sit beside him on the bed. She then enters with their little munchkin and the two then share a kiss. In the video, the family of three can be seen in a matching coloured-outfits, which is blue. "Our little angel is here," read the caption.

Soon after, Ananya reshared the video on her Instagram Story and expressed her happiness at the arrival of her nephew. She wrote, "My beautiful baby boy nephew is here,” followed by a blue butterfly, a dolphin, a blue heart and a water wave emoticons.
