Ahead of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding in July, the Ambani family will be hosting the who’s who of tinsel town and the business and tech world in Jamnagar for the pre-wedding festivities which will kickstart from March 1. While guests including Abhishek Bachchan, Manish Malhotra, Manushi Chhillar have started arriving in Jamnagar, on Wednesday evening, the Ambanis organised an Anna Seva event for the people of Jogwad, a village in Gujarat. Photos of the bride and groom-to-be serving food to the people are going viral on social media.

Ambanis kickstart Anant-Radhika's Pre-wedding festivities with Anna Seva

The Ambanis served traditional Gujarat food at the community dinner organised on the occasion of the wedding celebration of Anant and Radhika. Besides the bride and groom, Mukesh Ambani and Radhika’s parents also took part in the Anna Seva. Reportedly, 51000 locals will be served food in the next few days.

Videos of business tycoon Mukesh Ambani and his son Anant Ambani serving food to the people of Jogwad are going viral on social media. In one of the photos, Mukesh Ambani can be seen serving ladoos to the people. Anant's to-be-bride Radhika Merchant too was seen greeting the locals with a smile.

What do we know about Anant-Radhika's pre-wedding festivities?

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding festivities will commence on March 1 in Jamnagar, Gujarat, and span over three days. The first day would be celebrated as 'An Evening in Everland', where the guests will be expected to wear cocktail attire. The second day would host 'A Walk on the Wildside' with 'Jungle Fever' being the suggested dress code. It will be held outdoors in the Ambanis' animal rescue center, Vantara, in Jamnagar. The last day would witness two events 'Tusker Trails' and 'Hashtakshar’. While Tusker Trails will be an outdoor affair where the guests will enjoy the natural beauty of Jamnagar, for Hashtakshar they will be expected to be dressed in heritage Indian attire.

What more do we know about the pre-wedding festivities?

For the pre-wedding festivities, over 1,000 guests have been invited for the pre-wedding events. Indian celebrities, politicians, industrialists, and even global personalities are expected to attend the event. Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Bill Gates, and Mark Zuckerberg are among the guests who will grace the occasion. The celebrations will also witness electrifying performances from pop star Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh, Arijit Singh, and Ajay-Atul among others.

2500 Dishes to be served during the festivities

An extensive menu of over 2500 dishes with a special focus on Indori food is planned for the event. In addition, the cuisines will range 
from Thai food to Parsi, Japanese, Mexican, and other pan-Asian dishes. Reportedly, there will be 75 breakfast dishes, 225 lunch dishes, 275 dishes for dinner, and 85 in the midnight meal. A special menu for guests who follow a vegan diet has also been taken care of. After these festivities in March, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will tie the knot on July 12, 2024, in Mumbai.
