John Abraham came wrapped as a gift on Priyanka Chopra's mother’s birthday?

Priyanka Chopra Jonas' mother Madhu Chopra recently recalled how she was judged after the actress threw her a grand 60th birthday bash only six days after her father Ashok Chopra's death. She also revealed that Priyanka arranged for actor John Abraham to appear as a surprise, wrapped like a birthday gift.

Madhu recalled that on June 16, shortly after her father’s death on June 10, Priyanka planned a unique surprise to cheer her up. Speaking to Lehren Retro, Madhu said, "He passed away on June 10 and my birthday is on June 16."

She explained how Priyanka persuaded the family to go ahead with her milestone birthday celebration. Knowing her mother was a big fan of John Abraham, Priyanka invited her Dostana co-star to surprise Madhu at midnight, wrapped as a gift.

"They had requested John to come at midnight, wrapped like a birthday present. Imagine that! Priyanka said, ‘Mom has to have her moment,’" Madhu added.

Priyanka's bond with father Dr Ashok Chopra
