Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez took a vacation to St. Barts to unwind away from the spotlight, but on Saturday, December 30, they seemed to have a difficult day in paradise. Photos of the couple shopping at some luxury stores in Gustavia surfaced online earlier today. In some of them, they appeared to be having a small argument.

Lopez and Affleck were seen shopping at the upscale stores in Gustavia, the capital of the Caribbean island. The Gone Girl star was seen furrowing his brows and putting his hands up to his head during what appeared to be a tense conversation with his wife, who stood poised as she listened and looked around the area while trying on some jewelry.

Affleck finally pulled out his phone and leaned back to take a few pictures of Lopez, who appeared to be still unhappy. After a series of selfies in which Jennifer cuddled her husband, the couple eventually made up and shared a kiss. 

The couple's Christmas celebration at home with friends and family preceded the outing. A-list celebrities like Margot Robbie and Michael B. Jordan attended their holiday party to celebrate with them.

After mending their relationship nearly 20 years after their initial breakup, Lopez and Affleck have been married for a little more than a year now. Previously, after calling off their engagement in 2004, they both went on to wed other people. Afterward, they rekindled their romance during the pandemic and finally got married in Las Vegas last summer. A second ceremony was held a month later at Ben's Georgia estate.
