What was supposed to be a mutual and peaceful separation has turned out to be ugly owing to their daughter's custody battle. 1: After announcing their divorce, Jonas returned to the stage on September 6 without his wedding ring.

2:  A few days later, on September 9, the singer seemingly addressed his divorce from Sophie Turner during his concert in Los Angeles. He said, "It's been a crazy week. I just want to say, if you don't hear it from these lips, don't believe it. Okay? Thank you, everyone, for the love and support to me and my family. I love you guys." It came after Alexa Nikolas, a former Nickelodeon star, accused Jonas of asking her for “nude" photos when they were both teenagers.

3: Amid the divorce, Sophie Turner was also busy with her work commitments. She was snapped in Spain on the set of her new series Joan. It was at this time when pictures of her kissing her co-star during a shoot went viral.

6: Shortly after Sophie's lawsuit was filed, Joe's rep shared a statement to PEOPLE, rubbishing the claims made by the actress. "Joe and Sophie had a cordial meeting in New York, when Sophie came to New York to be with the kids. They have been with her since that meeting. Joe’s impression of the meeting was that they had reached an understanding that they would work together towards an amicable co-parenting setup," a rep told the portal.
