Former Miss India Namrata Shirodkar Namrata Shirodkar forayed into acting in Bollywood in 1998. She quit acting in 2004 and soon after she got married to actor Mahesh Babu in 2005. Namrata left acting never to return. A post from Rediff is going viral in which the Vatsaav actress has called Juhi Chawla and Sridevi ‘low society’ people.

Namrata answered a fan’s question about creating space for herself in the industry among successful actresses and wrote, “Definitely I plan to carve a niche for myself and as far as Juhi and Sri are concerned they are completely L.S. If you want to know what that means it means Low Society.”

This old post of Namrata commenting on both the actresses has sparked anger amongst netizens. They took to comment section to voice out their opinion as well. One user wrote, “woman can't even stand up for herself to work after marriage but calling two self made stars low society??… Juhi is still working, does tv series, has a partnership in Kolkata Knight Riders , Sridevi worked till the very end. What has she done except making appearances alongside her expressionless husband.”

Namrata Shirodkar was crowned as Miss India in 1993. She made her debut with film Mere Do Anmol Ratan. Namrata is best known for her works in Kachche Dhaage, Ezhupunna, Tharakan, Vaatsav: The Reality and Pukar among others.

Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar's love story began during the shoot of Vamsi which eventually led to their marriage after almost five years of togetherness. The couple are proud parents to two children, Gautham and Sitara.
