Michael Douglas shares his take on Indian cuisine

In an exclusive interview with Republic, Michael Douglas discussed his stance and perspective on a plethora of issues - from the parallel threat and excitement about artificial intelligence in the entertainment business to pivotal moments in his dual career as a producer and actor. A highlight in the interview, however, was Douglas' revelation about his relationship with food. Friend and producer Shailendra Singh candidly asked Douglas to articulate what it is about Indian food that entices him, continuing to elaborate how food from each state has a flavour of its own. Michael attempts to follow Shailendra's train of thought before implying how he has a better idea of North Indian cuisine as opposed to South Indian cuisine. This is followed by the actor breaking into a quip about how while Singh remembers meals from years ago, the actor himself cannot recall his dinner from last night.

He said, "I'm not quite the kind of sure that you are, Shailendra No, I don't remember. I just think of the North I'm just beginning to get a taste of the South, which everybody told me was, Yeah, food was excellent...you remember meals from two years ago? I mean, it's impressive. I, I have a hard time remembering what I ate last night, I had a beautiful meal last night thanks to you."
