Known for addressing issues head-on, the US rapper did not shy away from discussing the incident.

In video footage shared by TMZ, Nicki is seen addressing online trolls who mocked her during the five or six hours she claims she was detained. She is heard saying, “Guess who’s still winning!!!”

At this point, her fans expressed their support for her. Thousands of fans had been expected to attend Nicki’s performance at the Co-op Live venue in Manchester, but the show was postponed due to her arrest in the Netherlands just hours earlier.

Nicki Minaj apologises to her fans

The rapper was detained at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam on allegations of soft drug possession. After finally arriving in Manchester late on Saturday night, she apologised to her fans.

The singer was delayed in her travel to the UK after spending five to six hours in a detention cell before being released without charges.

Upon realising the concert at Co-op Live in Manchester would not happen, she took to social media platform X to express her regret, writing, “Please please please accept my deepest & most sincere apologies.” As Nicki live-streamed on Instagram, scores of fans gathered outside her hotel within minutes.

While filming from her room, fans outside shouted, “Nicki!” She responded, “Can you see me? Hi! You look nice and pretty!”

In a video shared on social media, she told them, “I love you… and I’m so sorry.”
