Sonali Bendre shares glimpse from her visit Haridwar with her husband Goldie Behl and son Ranveer for their New Year getaway.

While many celebrities from Bollywood have jetted off to tropical and European vacation, actress Sonali Bendre visited Haridwar to ring in the New Year. She visited the pilgrim city in Uttarakhand along with her husband Goldie Behl and son Ranveer for their little getaway. The actress has now shared a glimpse of the same on her social media handles.

Sonali Bendre explores Haridwar

In the series of pictures, shared on Instagram by Sonali, the first frame features herself and Ranveer laughing as they enjoy the cable car ride. In the next frame, producer Goldie Behl can be seen taking a selfie of himself while Sonali can be seen using her phone during their auto ride. 

She also added frames from their participation in the evening Ganga aarti at the ghat of Haridwar. The family in the last frame are seen performing the aarti. "E-rickshaw, cable car rides, what a day in Haridwar with the most amazing Gangaji Aarti... Thank you @pilibhithouseharidwar (for sneaking us in and out so smoothly!!!!)," She wrote in the caption of the post.

Sonali Bendre's Birthday

It's a double celebration for the Hum Saath Saath Hain actress with new year celebrations, she is also turning 49 today, January 1. She also shares her birthday with her sister-in-law Tania Behl. "Here's to my birthday twin and my beloved sister-in-law @taniarbehl Lots of love to you, Happy Birthday," Sonali Bendre wrote in the caption.

What do we know about Sonali Bendre?

In 2018, Sonali Bendre was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Cancer and underwent treatment in the USA. After months of treatment, she defeated the disease and survived. Sonali has been actively advocating her opinion and spreading awareness about cancer since then. 

The actress in December was part of the Cancer Innovation Leadership Initiative(NCiLi) which was organised by DBT India. Sharing the pictures from the meeting, Sonali said that she felt a huge surge of hope for the improvement in medical support and welfare for the cancer patients. "After listening to the innovative ideas to bridge the gaps and strengthen ecosystem for treatments and patients. Looking forward to continued opportunities that will help shape a brighter future for all," she wrote in the caption.

Meanwhile, Sonali Bendre made her OTT debut with ZEE5's series, Broken News where she essayed the role of journalist. She was also among the panel of judges along with Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapur in India's Best Dancer 3.
