Recently, the Mist Music founder yet again expressed his disappointment about not receiving as much work as he deserves, even after delivering hit songs.

During a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, Ankit Tiwari spoke openly about his struggles and the lack of work in the music industry. The emotional Sanam Teri Kasam singer shared, “Mujhe kaam karna hai, mai yeh keh skta hu ki meri kaam ki bhuk ka maine 1 percent kia hai abhi tak.” (I want to work more; I have done just 1% of what I want to achieve.) He added, “Ab lagta hai ki struggle khatam nhi hora baar baar bhaag raha hu.” (Now, it feels like my struggle never ends, which is heartbreaking.)

The interview clip quickly went viral, sparking criticism. Many viewers mocked the singer for expressing his emotions publicly. One commenter wrote, “Vishal Mishra bhi to kaam kar rha hai..kya problem hai fir.” (Vishal Mishra is also working; what’s the issue then?) Another remarked, “Attitude problem bro, see Arijit Singh was so down to earth even after success, but you were not.”

This is not the first time the singer has shared emotional struggles about life. Earlier, he spoke about a challenging period that helped him identify his true friends. Referring to them as his family, he expressed gratitude for their unwavering support during his tough times.

For those unfamiliar, the singer entered Bollywood in 2010 by composing a song for the film Do Dooni Chaar. However, he gained widespread recognition in 2013 with Sunn Raha Hai from Mohit Suri's film Aashiqui 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. He followed this success with another hit, Galliyan, from Ek Villain (2014), featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra. Since then, he has delivered and composed numerous chart-topping tracks.
