Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram Stories to congratulate the Indian team and celebrate the victory. He shared the poster of his hit film Badlapur but it had Rohit Sharma's face over his picture. The cherry on the cake was his caption, "Badla pura...World Cup se World Cup take."

For the unversed, on November 19, 2023, Australia won against India by six wickets in the final match of the 2023 ICC World Cup. So, referring to that, Varun seemingly said how India gave a befitting reply to Australia a year after losing in the final tournament.

Ayushmann Khurrana took to his X handle to celebrate the milestone. He also wrote the message referring to India's defeat in the final tournament of the 2023 ICC World Cup against Australia. He also lauded Team India for their efforts while hoping that India would win the World Cup this time. "Moving forward after avenging the ODI World Cup defeat against Aussies. Team India has now reached the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2024 and will next lock horns with England on June 27 at Guyana National Stadium.
