Indians are currently beaming with joy as the Indian cricket team won against Australia in the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup on Monday, June 24. Australia chased a 206 runs-target but lost by 24 runs and Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was awarded the title of Player of the Match. Now, celebs such as Varun Dhawan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Vikrant Massey and Varun Tej have reacted to India's big win.

Varun Dhawan drops quirky post celebrating the milestone

Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram Stories to congratulate the Indian team and celebrate the victory. He shared the poster of his hit film Badlapur but it had Rohit Sharma's face over his picture. The cherry on the cake was his caption, "Badla pura...World Cup se World Cup take."

For the unversed, on November 19, 2023, Australia won against India by six wickets in the final match of the 2023 ICC World Cup. So, referring to that, Varun seemingly said how India gave a befitting reply to Australia a year after losing in the final tournament.

How did other celebs celebrate the big win of India?

Ayushmann Khurrana took to his X handle to celebrate the milestone. He also wrote the message referring to India's defeat in the final tournament of the 2023 ICC World Cup against Australia. He also lauded Team India for their efforts while hoping that India would win the World Cup this time. "Moving forward after avenging the ODI World Cup defeat against Aussies. Whatta great team effort. Well played Ro, SKY, Dube, Arsh. This World Cup is going to be ours! Cmon India! #IndVsAus #WorldCup #T20," his post reads.

Vikrant Massey took to his Instagram Stories and praised Rohit Sharma for his performance against Australia. He shared a photo of the Indian skipper batting and wrote, "The BOSS has delivered."
