Vicky Kaushal becomes only Indian actor to achieve THIS feat
Vicky Kaushal has appeared in four major projects this year, three of which he has led. Foremost among them has been December release Sam Bahadur.
Vicky Kaushal has been on a roll this year. The actor has seen through the release of four big project in 2023 alone. Adding another feather to his cap, the actor has yet another achievement to his name right before the year draws to a close. What's more, this achievement in question is unique to Vicky, having never been attained by any other Indian actor.
Vicky Kaushal gets an official nod from Instagram
The most followed account on Instagram happens to be that of the official handle for the platform itself - Instagram - with a whooping 665 million followers to his credit. The official handle however, has been rather selective with the accounts that it itself follows. The following tab on the official handle for Instagram caps off at exactly 81.
Amid the 81, mostly verified accounts that the official Instagram follows, is also that of Vicky Kaushal's. If the exclusivity of the feat does not already make it special enough, there is another factor adding novelty to it. Vicky Kaushal is the only Indian actor on the 81-names long list. Vicky Kaushal himself is yet to address this.
Vicky Kaushal has had a strong year at the movies
Vicky Kaushal kicked off his year at the movies with Laxman Utekar directorial Zara Hatke Zara Bachke which featured him opposite Sara Ali Khan. This was followed by the Vijay Krishna Acharya helmed The Great Indian Family in which Vicky was paired opposite Manushi Chhillar. His third release of the year - the biggest thus far - was Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur in which he essayed the titular role of Former Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army, Sam Manekshaw.
Finally, the actor made a much talked about special appearance in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki which hit theatres on December 21. Vicky will next be seen in film Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam.
