Darshan Moved To Bellary Central Jail After Viral Photo Of VVIP Treatment In Prison | First Visuals

Kannada actor Darshan, who is accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, was transferred to Bellary Jail on Thursday morning after allegations of receiving VIP treatment in Parappana Agrahara Prison, Bengaluru. A photo of him with three others enjoying a conversation in the lawns of the Parappana Agrahara Prison went viral earlier this week, leading to controversy.

In the video, the Kannada actor, surrounded by police officers, can be seen arriving at the jail. The cloth bag, which has his belongings, brought by the actor was checked at the entrance of the jail. The officials also checked him thoroughly before registering Darshan. Meanwhile, the actor's ardent fans gathered outside the Bellary SP's office and other venues just to catch his glimpse.
Darshan was allegedly living a luxurious life in the Parappana Agrahara Prison
Reportedly, Darshan was living a luxurious life in jail. In the leaked photos obtained by Republic Kannada, he could be seen enjoying coffee and smoking a cigarette while having leisure time in the garden with his manager and others. According to insiders, Darshan is happy with the treatment he has been getting in jail. The leaked photos of the murder accused have caused a stir in the department and the state. The visuals are from Parappana Agrahara Central Jail.
According to reports, a jail inmate sent this photo of Darshan to his wife, assuring her of his condition while being incarcerated.
Following this incident, the court on Tuesday granted permission to shift the Kannada actor to Bellary. The court also permitted the shifting of other co-accused in the murder case to various prisons in the state.

A total of 17 people, including Darshan, along with his friend Pavithra Gowda, are currently in judicial custody in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy. Bengaluru Police Commissioner, B Dayananda stated on August 16 that the fan murder case involving Kannada superstar Darshan, Pavithra Gowda and 15 others, was reaching its final stage. The Police Commissioner stated that oral, circumstantial, and technical evidence related to the sensational murder had been collected and sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Bengaluru, from where about 70 per cent of the reports have been received.
The gruesome murder of Renukaswamy took place on June 8 in Bengaluru. He was kidnapped from his hometown, Chitradurga, brought to Bengaluru, kept in a shed, and tortured to death. After the murder, his body was thrown into a canal. The incident came to light after the security personnel of a private apartment building saw the body being dragged by a pack of dogs. Renukaswamy is survived by aged parents, a pregnant wife and a sister.
