Gal Gadot's claims about Wonder Woman 3 not true, says report

Gal Gadot played the role of Wonder Woman from 2016 to 2023. She debuted as the superhero in Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and concluded it with a cameo appearance in The Flash.
She became a fan-favourite to play the role of Wonder Woman, and many were disheartened when the Patty Jenkins-led Wonder Woman 3 was scrapped in 2022. The actress gave fans a new glimmer of hope when she revealed that she is working with DC Studio co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran for a third Wonder Woman film. However, there may not be any substance to her claims, as per a new report.

Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman movie not happening?
During a recent conversation with Flaunt Magazine, Gadot revealed that she received word from Gunn and Safran for a third Wonder Woman film. She told the outlet that she was "invited" to meet the DC Studios co-bosses, and that they told her that they’ll work with her to develop Wonder Woman 3.

She told the outlet, “I was invited to a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran, and what they told me, and I’m quoting: ‘You’re in the best hands. We’re going to develop Wonder Woman 3 with you. [We] love you as Wonder Woman— you’ve got nothing to worry about.’ So time will tell.”

However, a report from Variety suggests that nothing of the kind was promised to Gadot. Moreover, no other plans for a Wonder Woman film exists other than the Thymescira centred prequel series Paradise Lost.

While speaking with Comicbook.com, Gal Gadot had previously suggested that there might be a future for her rendition of Wonder Woman. She told the outlet, “From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we’re gonna develop a ‘Wonder Woman 3’ together.”
