Hailey Bieber is currently enjoying her maternity phase and is busy preparing a baby playroom with her husband Justin Bieber. However, not many know that the model delayed her family plans owing to the Baby singer's mental health. While Justin was eager to start the family right after getting married, Hailey waited until the singer's mental health was back on track. The couple tied the wedding knot in 2018 in an intimate wedding ceremony.

Divorce seemed to be the only way out for Hailey and Justin Bieber

A source told OK! Magazine that Justine was a lot "clingier" while Hailey has always been more emotionally mature. Reflecting on their troublesome marriage, an industry insider revealed that the couple's different personalities and their decision to get married so early caused turbulence in their mid-year of marriage. "It was hard. Divorce seemed to be their only way out," the source added.

Explaining why Hailey waited to start a family, the source revealed she couldn't handle Justin's mental health issues and family planning was important for her. So she wanted to make sure of Justin's stability first. They got married so young and weren’t emotionally equipped to deal with it. Hailey didn’t want to bring a child into their world until things were more stable," the source continued. For the unversed, in 2022, Hailey suffered a ministroke and Justin was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.

When things turned around for both Justin and Hailey

The source continued that after repeatedly asking Hailey to start a family, Justin "stopped pushing her and making her feel guilty" and that's when things started falling into place for them. “They sought the advice of their pastor and got some much-needed therapy," the source added.

Now, as the couple is expecting their first child, the couple is having fun and this has also sorted their marriage. "Justin’s finally getting the family he always wanted," the source concluded.

Earlier this month, Justin and Hailey announced pregnancy on Instagram with a video of the couple renewing their vows as she showed off her baby bump.
