The parody trailer was created through clever editing, splicing together existing content, and adding voiceovers and effects.

The trailer suggests that Home Alone 3: Kevin's Revenge takes place decades after the events of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Kevin finds himself in a "final showdown" against the recently released Wet Bandits, who are back for more mischief.
