Hugh Jackman is gearing up for the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, co-starring Ryan Reynolds. Helmed by Shawn Levy, in the movie, Hug Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine. In a recent interview, the actor opened up about the challenges of reprising his role as Wolverine in the upcoming movie.

As per a report in Deadline, Hugh Jackman said that he was "thrilled". He shared that his body was a little more at the beginning, but was thrilled that his body was still responding. "When I came back to it, it was really fun and I was thrilled. My body was a little sore at the beginning, but I was thrilled that my body was still responding. And I realized how good it is for your brain. But the hardest bit...the food," said Jackman

The actor added that he always had trouble bulking up. "I have to eat a lot. For me, for my body type, I'm naturally skinny. To get the size on, that's the hardest bit. That's the bit that does my head in," he added.

When Ryan Reynolds said he couldn't believe the physicality he saw in Hugh Jackman

Earlier in an interview, Ryan opened up about his experience working with Jackman. He said that it was the first time, he had even seen how "invaluable a background in song and dance is when you are doing an action movie".

Deadpool & Wolverine hits theatres on July 26. The movie is a sequel to Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018). In the film, the Time Variance Authority (TVA) pulls Deadpool from his quiet life and sets him on a mission with Wolverine that will change the history of the MCU.
