Margot Robbie graced the Golden Globes 2024 red carpet in her signature Barbie look. At the 81st Golden Globe Awards red carpet, the actress was asked to weigh in about Lady Gaga's role as Harley Quinn in Joker. Earlier, Robbie has played Harley Quinn in movies including Birds of Prey and Suicide Squad. However, the actress has not contacted Gaga about Harley Quinn's character.

What did Margot Robbie say about not meeting Lady Gaga?

Addressing Lady Gaga's character as Harley Quinn, Margot Robbie said, "She’s going to crush it! She’s going to be amazing." "I actually haven’t spoken to her about it. I almost don’t want to know so I can save it for a surprise when I see the movie," she added.

Robbie previously told Variety that she is excited for another actor to put their own spin on Harley Quinn and that she does not feel possessive of the superhero role.

"I always wanted Harley to be a character that would get passed on to other actresses to play, the way there are so many iconic male characters," Robbie said. "That was always the dream for her. Harley’s so fun and can go in so many different directions. You put her in someone else’s hands, and it’s like, ‘What are they going to do with her?’ The options are endless," she continued.

Margot Robbie paints red carpet pink

Margot Robbie showed up at the Golden Globes 2024 in a pink dazzling gown. The actress’ custom-made hot pink gown was designed by Armani. Her outfit was a replica of the historic 1977 Superstar Barbie model.

It only made sense for the actress to bring out the pink as Barbie is up for nine awards at the event. The Greta Gerwig film was nominated for Best Film, Musical or Comedy, Best Supporting Actor, Best Director, Best Cinematic and box office achievement and other categories. Margot Robbie herself was nominated for Best Musical or Comedy Actress.
