Paramount Pictures recently dropped a new and the final trailer for the Mean Girls musical movie. Unlike its previous parts, this one seems to be more inclined towards music. This part has been adapted from the stage musical version of Tina Fey's 2004 hit film. Titled as ‘Revenge Party’, the new trailer does not reveal any musical numbers.

All about Mean Girls’ final trailer

It opens with Reneé Rapp singing ‘My name is Regina George’ in a scene where she is standing solo in a hallway. It further features a choreographed dance sequence at a party. The movie revolves around the story of Cady, a girl who moves to America and feels totally lost as she gets caught up with a group of popular girls called the Plastics. Even though they seem nice, the reality is something else.

Rachel McAdams reveals why she chose to skip the Mean Girls reunion

In an interview with Variety, McAdams opened up about why she was not part of the Mean Girls themed Walmart commercial which saw the entire core cast reprise their roles. She said, "I don’t know, I guess I wasn’t that excited about doing a commercial if I’m being totally honest. A movie sounded awesome, but I’ve never done commercials, and it just didn’t feel like my bag. Also, I didn’t know that everyone was doing it. I would, of course, always love to be part of a Mean Girls reunion and hang with my plastics, but yeah, I found that out later."
