Natalie Portman made her debut as a child actor at the young age of 13 with the movie Leon: The Professional. She became a household name after she won the Oscar award nearly a decade after her debut. Natalie Portman has dabbled with many genres from thriller to romantic. The Israeli- American actor is known for choosing unconventional roles and she seems to have been creatively satisfied with her choice of roles. Her drastic transformation from a passionate dancer in Black Swan to a typical girl next door in No Strings Attached is nothing short of inspirational. Jackie (2016)

Natalie Portman’s role as Jacqueline Kennedy in the movie Jackie won her an Oscar nomination, which she lost to Emma Stone for La La Land. However, the biopic is considered to be one of the best works by the actor. The Pablo Larraín directed movie also stars Peter Sarsgaard and Greta Gerwig in pivotal roles. Closer (2004)

Closer, directed by Mike Nichols is considered to be an underrated movie, with vast potential. It has been argued that Natalie got the least screen time, however her character of a 20 something year old stripper made people fall in love with her acting. The star cast of the movie includes Hollywood legends like Julia Roberts, Jude Law and Clive Owen. The movie V for Vendetta is an adaptation of  Alan Moore’s popular graphic novel of the same name. The politically charged movie has a different fan base and its anti-authoritarian vibe that struck a chord with the audience. Natalie’s character of Evey Hammond in the James McTeigue movie has been appreciated by all. The movie also stars industry giants like Hugo Weaving and Rupert Graves, amongst others.
