Sean 'Diddy' Combs Faces New Sexual Assault Allegations, Abuse Charges By Over 100 Victims
Sean Diddy Combs is facing new allegations which have been made by men and women who were minors at the time of the alleged incidents.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is one of the most influential hip-hop artists in the United States and has been credited for launching careers of the Notorious BIG, Mary J Blige and Usher. The American rapper was arrested in Manhattan on September 17 following months of sexual assault accusations and a grand jury indictment. In the latest development, new allegations have even filed against Sean ‘Diddy’.
New Sexual Assault Allegations against Sean Diddy?
According to several reports, Tony Buzbee, a Texas-based attorney, revealed at a press conference that he is representing 120 accusers who alleged misconduct against Combs over the course of two decades.
Reports suggest that the forthcoming filings were unprecedented in scope and included allegations from both men and women who ranged in age from 9 to 38 at the time of the alleged attacks. In his preview of lawsuits to come, Buzbee said, “many powerful people…many dirty secrets”. He added that his team has collected pictures, video. Buzbee said that the new civil claims against Combs will include “violent sexual assault or rape, facilitated sex with a controlled substance, dissemination of video recordings, sexual abuse of minors”.
Andrew Van Arsdale, one of the plaintiffs’ attorney added that there will be 120 individual lawsuits filed in New York, Los Angeles and Miami in the coming weeks.
Accusations against Diddy
As per reports, the US rapper and music mogul is now facing serious allegations, including racketeering and sex trafficking. A 14-page federal indictment accuses him of running a criminal enterprise, with charges ranging from racketeering and sex trafficking to transportation for prostitution.
The indictment also includes allegations of kidnapping, forced labour, and bribery. Some victims have shared graphic accounts of violence and coercion, and witnesses claim to have seen violence at these events, which the defence disputes.
