Jailer Box Office Collection Day 19: Rajinikanth film crosses Rs 175 cr mark in Tamil Nadu

Legendary actor Rajinikanth's latest film, Jailer, continues to maintain its impressive performance at the box office. The film is drawing full houses in theaters across the world even into its third week. Despite a slight drop from its Sunday collection, its third Monday figure remains commendable.

Jailer remains stable in third week

On its 19th day of release, Jailer earned a total of Rs 3 crore in India, as per the early estimates by Sacnilk. Over the course of the past 19 days, the film has shattered several box office records. Currently, its total collection stands at Rs 319.35 crore at the domestic box office. 

On Monday, the film maintained an overall occupancy rate of 25.56% in theaters. The morning shows witnessed a seat occupancy of 16.65%, which climbed to 22.36% during the afternoon screenings. The evening shows garnered 30.11% occupancy, and the night screenings reached a peak occupancy of 33.10%, according to the website.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala reported that Jailer has successfully crossed the Rs 175 crore (gross) mark in Tamil Nadu alone. The film's outstanding performance is expected to continue for several more weeks, especially considering the absence of significant releases until the arrival of Jawan on September 7.
