Kaala trailer: Avinash Tiwary starrer delves deeper into reverse hawala operation

Makers of the investigative thriller series titled Kaala unveiled the trailer on Friday. The series dives deeper into the realm of reverse hawala and will feature several layers of betrayal and crime. The series is helmed by Bejoy Nambiar and will feature Taher Shabbir, Avinash, and Hiten Tejwani, among others in prominent roles.

Kaala trailer gives a glimpse of hawala scam

The makers of Kaala have released the trailer of the web series that followed the story of an Intelligence Bureau officer who is hell-bent on catching the bad guys involved in the hawala scam. The video further featured a game of power in a world full of betrayal and crime. It also showed the IB officer embarking on a mission to capture an expanding reverse hawala operation that converts white money into black.

The trailer also shed light on how an IB officer with limited resources attempts to catch criminals. The show also dove deeper into the world of crime while exploring the darkness hidden in human souls. The trailer ended with a combination of power and wealth amid never-ending trauma. 

Bejoy and Avinash talk about Kaala web series

Kaala shows the intense pursuit of IB Officer Ritwik (played by Avinash Tiwary) to dismantle a reverse hawala operation from its very core. The show also stars Rohan Vinod Mehra, Nivetha Pethuraj, Taher Shabbir, Jitin Gulati, Elisha Mayor, and Hiten Tejwani. The series was created and directed by Bejoy Nambiar, who is known for his film Shaitaan.

Talking about the series, Bejoy Nambiar said, “'Kaala' delves into the realm of reverse hawala, peeling back the layers of crime and betrayal. Behind closed doors, in the shadows, money takes on a life of its own, entangled with betrayal, revenge, and a hunger for power. Kaala is an unfiltered reflection of our reality.
