South Korean actress Kang Myung Joo, known for her character in Extraordinary Attorney Woo, has passed away at 54 after battling cancer for a long time. As per reports by South Korean media outlet, the actress succumbed to a painful battle against cancer at 5:52 p.m. KST on February 27. The funeral service for the actress is taking place at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, with her burial scheduled for March 2. Her husband, actor Park Yun Hee, and their daughters, including actress Park Se Young, mourn her loss.

Park Se Young announced her mother’s passing in an emotional social media post, saying, "My mom left us yesterday afternoon. We would appreciate it if you could remember the stage she loved and the moments she shone."
