Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young starred in the 2017 K-drama Strong Girl Bong Soon. Since then, they are remembered as one of the most loved couples in the Korean television industry. After six years, the duo finally reunited for a cameo appearance in the original drama's spin-off, Strong Girl Nam-soon.

Fans react to Park Hyung Sik-Park Bo Young’s evergreen chemistry 

The cameo of the two actors saw them reprising their characters from the original drama. Park Bo Young as Bong Soon is brought to the police station for beating up two men who were abusing animals. Her husband played by Park Hyung Sik stands by her side through the ordeal as he supports his wife. 

Earlier in the day, Hyung Sik and Bo Young both shared sweet selfies with each other on their Instagram handle. The duo announced their upcoming cameo in Strong Girl Nam-soon. The actors twinned in blue in the photos. Hyung Sik was dressed in a blue jacket over a white shirt, while Bo Young opted for a blue top and jeans. He captioned the images with "Bongbong and Minmin appeared in Hemchon Girl Gangnamsoon today," referencing to their well-known roles.

What is the plotline of Strong Girl Nam-soon? 

Lee Yoo Mi plays Gang Nam Soon, the second cousin of Do Bong Soon (Park Bo Young) in the Strong Girl Nam-soon television series. Gang Nam Soon, who leaves Mongolia in quest of her parents, is described as an unconventional, free-spirited person with tremendous power. 

Kim Jung Eun plays Gang Nam Soon's mother, Hwang Geum Joo, a wealthy person in Gangnam who is renowned for her fierce sense of justice. Last but not least, Kim Hae Sook portrays Gil Joong Gan, Gang Nam Soon's maternal grandmother and a well-respected member of the Majang community.
