Tovino Thomas, the lead in this highly-anticipated movie, shared a sneak peek via a new poster on his official Twitter handle. With an announcement that the investigation kicks off on February 9th, 2024, the actor has left his fans thrilled.

Anweshippin Kandethum is an investigative thriller with a screenplay crafted by Jinu V. The narrative revolves around two significant crimes that shook Kerala and the subsequent inquiry into these cases. Other than Tovino Thomas, the Malayalam movie also stars Siddique, Indrans, Shammy Thilakan, and Baburaj.

Tovino was previously seen in the drama film Adrishya Jalakangal, directed by Dr. Biju. While the film garnered praise for its narrative depth, it couldn’t leave a mark at the box office. Tovino Thomas has Ajayante Randam Moshanam in his pipeline, a fantasy adventure directed by Jithin Lal and featuring Krithi Shetty as the female lead.

Talking about the movie, Tovino shared, “I was fortunate enough to play a cop's role in the past and be a part of some investigative thrillers, but Anweshippin Kandethum and its protagonist are entirely different. Though based on a real crime investigation, the script is crafted to offer many edge-of-the-seat moments and maintain suspenseful elements throughout."
