Mathagam trailer: Atharvaa Murali plays a cop in intense crime thriller series

Atharvaa Murali will soon be seen in the web series Mathagam. This has created a sense of excitement among fans. Now, the makers of the show have released its trailer. Going by the video, Mathagam follows a police force as it takes on a crime syndicate that threatens the safety and security of civilians. The series is all set for an OTT release soon.

Mathagam trailer is a treat for Atharvaa fans

The makers of Mathagam recently released the official trailer for the crime series. The two-minute, twenty seven-second long trailer encapsulates what can be expected from the upcoming Tamil-language show. Mathagam will see a police force, led by a sincere IPS officer played (Atharvaa Murali). The trailer features some menacing moments coupled with several fast-paced chase sequences as the force rushes to prevent the impending threat to civilian security. The tagline given for the series reads, '#thenightislong'.

The web series stars Atharvaa Murali, Mani Kandan and Nikhila Vimal. It will also feature Dhivyadharshini DD Neelakandan, Gautham Menon, Dilnaz Irani, Prasath Murugesan And Darbuka Siva. Besides starring in the series, Prasath Murugesan is also the creator and director for Mathagam. The series will be available for streaming on Disney + Hotstar starting August 18. 

Atharvaa is no stranger to OTT

Mathagam makes for Atharvaa Murali's second dabble in the web series medium. He had previously starred in series Navarasa which marked it OTT release on Netflix back in 2018. Besides Mathagam, Atharvaa has Address, Thanal and Nirangal Moondru up for release this year. All three films are currently in post-production.
