Akkineni Nagarjuna and director Vijay Binni have teamed up for a high-octane action extravaganza, Naa Saami Ranga, where Ashika Ranganath will be seen as the female lead. Amid the ongoing shooting in Hyderabad,  the rumoured release date of this movie is January 14, 2024. This movie will face competition with Guntur Kaaram, Saindhav, Human, and Eagle which will also release during the same week. The ensemble cast of Naa Saami Ranga  consists of multiple stars, featuring Allari Naresh, Raj Tarun, Mirnaa Menon, Rukshar Dhillon, Karuna Kumar, Mahesh Achanta, and others. Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner, the movie features music by the Oscar-winning MM Keeravaani.

What do we know about Naa Saami Ranga? 

The musical maestro MM Keeravaani, will compose the music of an Oscar-winning virtuoso Naa Saami Ranga. The film also consists of soul-stirring melodies. Naa Saami Ranga, an upcoming Indian Telugu-language period action drama. The original soundtrack of the film is composed by M. M. Keeravani. The film is an official remake of the 2019 Malayalam language film Porinju Mariam Jose. The story of the film is based on the real events that happened during the 1980s and 1990s in Thrissur.

The makers took to social media to announce the project with a sneak peek of the actor’s look in the film. Nagarjuna is seen in a rugged avatar. He is seen flaunting his style before indulging in an argument with the goons before lighting a beedi. he is introduced as the King. Nagarjuna was seen in the action thriller The Ghost. The Ghost was released on October 5, which is the Dussehra festival. Directed by Praveen Sattaru and starred Bollywood actresses Sonal Chauhan and Gul Panag as the female leads, as well as Anikha Surendran, Manish Chaudhari, Ravi Varma, and Jayaprakash in pivotal roles.

About Nagarjuna past projects

Nagarjuna, reportedly also agreed to star in the remake of this film, directed by Prasanna Kumar, a well-known writer making his debut. The actor made no official statements so far that Srinivasaa Chitturi will fund this project. He was the financier of films such as U-Turn, The Warrior, and Seetimaar.

As per reports, Nagarjuna also discussed his 100th film with director Mohan Raja, who recently directed GodFather with Chiranjeevi.  His two actor sons, Akhil and Naga Chaitanya were also on the films.
