Rohit Shetty has finally unveiled the teaser of the next chapter of the cop universe - Indian Police Force. On Saturday, the director shared the clip on social media offering a glimpse inside the cop action drama starring Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi in the lead. The series is slated to premiere on January 19.

A look at Indian Police Force

The one-minute-12-second teaser opens with a ticking bomb clock that eventually results in explosive blasts across the city. It then introduces Sidharth and Vivek in cop avatars, putting their all to save the city from the bomb blast. Sidharth and Vivek can be seen doing some serious stunts while saving the people in this action-cop drama.

Against this backdrop of imminent danger, the teaser unfolds a thrilling chase of the heroes and the masterminds behind the bomb blasts as they march into the chaos to save the city from the threats, embodying fierce patriotism. The clip ends with a small boy acting as a human bomb.

Sharing the post, the director captioned it as "This one is a homecoming for me! Cars, cops, action, high voltage drama and dialogue baazi. Back to basics!!!"

Sidharth, who is making his digital debut with Indian Police Force also shared on his Instagram handle and captioned it as "Excited to bring to you my first action-packed show, #IndianPoliceForce. Back in a new uniform with the cop universe maestro #RohitShetty.

Indian Police Force is the next chapter of Shetty's cop universe that he started with the 2011 movie Singham and expanded with Singham Returns (2014), Simmba (2018) and Sooryavanshi (2021). With Indian Police Force, Shetty is making his debut in the digital world. Apart from Sidharth and Vivek, the series also stars Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Sharad Kelkar, Rituraj Singh and Lalit Parimoo in pivotal roles.

The seven-episode action-packed series is set to premiere on January 19, 2024, on Prime Video.
