Animal on OTT: When and where to watch the Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna starrer

Ranbir Kapoor headlines the recently released film Animal. The movie was released on big screens on December 1, alongside Vicky Kaushal Sam Bahadur. After its theatrical run, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film is expected to be streamed on digital in early 2024. 

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal will stream on Netflix

The makers of Animal have collaborated with Netflix for the release of the film on the digital platform. While the exact date of its digital premiere is not revealed yet, it is expected to premiere in early 2024. It is also being reported that some scenes which were kept out of the film in theatre owing to a long runtime, will be included in the digital version of it. However, there is no official confirmation about the same yet. 

On the day of its release, Animal has minted nearly ₹61 crores at the domestic box office. The movie made history by breaching the ₹100 crore mark at the worldwide box office on the day of release. The Ranbir Kapoor film is pacing towards joining the league of the highest-grossing films of the year. 

Animal narrates the moving tale of father-son bond 

Animal is largely centred on the father-son relationship. In the trailer, Ranbir is looking raw and intense. His character is highly in awe of and obsessed with his father, and he is seen trying to please him in every way. The trailer is a violent, bloody, as well as emotional story. The child of a rich man, Ranbir’s character has a relationship with his father which is carved in blood and shaped by this darkness, he embraces his bloodlust and becomes a psychotic bloodthirsty killer. Written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie fuses elements typical of both South Indian and Bollywood films. Releasing on December 1, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra, and Suresh Oberoi, among others.
