Raghava Lawrence apologises after students get manhandled at Chandramukhi 2 audio launch

The grand audio launch event of Chandramukhi 2 was held in Chennai on August 25. The entire star cast kept the audience enthralled with their presence and fun banter. Unfortunately, things took an ugly turn when some students at the event got manhandled by the bouncers present at the venue. It turned out to be an unpleasant experience for all, following which actor Raghava Lawrence took to his social media handle to address the issue.

Raghava Lawrence issues apology 

Raghava Lawrence shared a lengthy note on his social media handle and wrote, "Hello everyone, I just came to know about the unfortunate incident which happened during our #Chandramukhi2 movie Audio Launch, where one of the Bouncers involved in a fist fight with a college student."

The actor further mentioned that neither he nor the organisers were aware of the incident as it took place outside the hall. "It’s well known fact that everyone knows how much I love our students & how much I wish to see them grow. Being that kind of a person, I’m always against these kind of fights. I always wish there should be happiness & peace everywhere we go," he added. 

Raghava Lawrence apologised for the incident and said that it is wrong to hit someone, especially when it is a student. He further urged the bouncers involved in the act to not indulge in such fights. The Chandramukhi 2 actor concluded his note by expressing gratitude to those concerned.

Who all attended Chandramukhi 2 audio launch?

The audio launch event of Chandramukhi 2 was attended by the entire team of the film. Director P Vasu, Kangana Ranaut, Raghava Lawrence, Radhika Sarathkumar, Vadivelu, and others were in attendance at the grand affair. Meanwhile, the movie is set to release in theatres on September 15.
