Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran To Clash With Dulquer Salmaan Starrer Lucky Baskhar?

Amaran, which is the biopic of Major Mukund Varadarajan, is expected to make waves at the box office. However, tasting success may not be as easy.

After the success of Maaveeran and Ayalaan, Sivakarthikeyan is one the few Tamil stars that are being eyed as the next generation of superstars in Kollywood. His upcoming release Amaran, which is the biopic of Ashok Chakra awardee Major Mukund Varadarajan is expected to make waves at the box office. However, tasting box office success may not be as easy as it looks.

Lucky Baskhar to clash with Amaran?

Lucky Baskhar, written and directed by Venky Atluri, is coming to big screens on September 27. The Dulquer Salmaan starrer was originally shot in Telugu but will release in multiple languages. According to reports, Makers of Amaran have zeroed in on the the date for their film's release as well. Even though it is not certain when Amaran will hit the big screens but it mighty end up clashing with Dulquer's next.

Meet the team of Amaran

Amaran boasts an ensemble star cast of Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Hanun Bawra, Ajaey Naga Raaman, Mir Salman, Gaurav Venkatesh, Shreekumar and others. The film has music composed by GV Prakash Kumar, cinematography is handled by CH Sai and editing by R Kalaivanan.

The film follows the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was a commissioned officer in the Indian Army’s Rajput Regiment. He was posthumously awarded the prestigious Ashoka Chakra for his actions during a counterterrorism operation. Kamal Haasan, R Mahendran, and Sony Pictures International Productions are jointly producing the movie on a gigantic scale.
