Ayalaan aimed to break barriers

The film aimed to break barriers within the Tamil film industry by presenting a production of substantial scale and magnitude within a budget, a concept relatively uncommon in regional cinema at the project's outset. "We wanted to make a film like this in the Tamil film industry and establish that we can also do a variety of content. But, unfortunately, the producer faced many issues. And it became clear that the only way to make this film happen was to give up my salary. The only thing on my mind was to take this vision to people through theatres," he added.
