Jr NTR To Make His Big Tamil Debut With Vetrimaaran's Film? Vettaiyan Director Reacts

Jr NTR is currently busy promoting his upcoming action-thriller Devara Part 1. During one such promotional event, the RRR actor expressed his desire to work in the Tamil film industry and requested his "favourite" director Vetrimaaran to cast him in one of his future projects. Now days after the director has reacted to Jr NTR's request and hinted that soon there will be an announcement regarding the same.

Vetrimaaran reveals discussing a few topics with Jr NTR

In a video going viral on the internet, Vetrimaaran can be seen on his way somewhere when a paparazzo approaches him asking him to react to Hr NTR's request. To this, the director revealed that he had already met with the veteran actor and even discussed story ideas regarding the movie. However, they will only go forward with the movie when they both are free from their prior work commitments.

“We have already met before. I discussed an idea with him. We will work together once we finish our current commitments," the Vettaiyan director said.

For the unversed, a few days ago, Jr NTR openly requested Vetrimaaran, "I’m gonna ask my favorite director... Vetrimaaran sir, please do one with me. Let’s do a straight Tamil movie, and we can later dub it into Telugu.”

What is Vetrimaaran busy with?

Just like Jr NTR, Vetrimaaran is also gearing up for the release of his directorial movie Vettaiyan, starring Rajinikanth alongside Amitabh Bachchan , Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier and others. The movie is set to hit the theatres on October 10, coinciding with Vijayadashami.

Meanwhile, Jr NTR is also gearing up for the release of Devara, co-starring Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor . The movie, helmed by  Koratala Siva, is slated to release on September 27.
