Leo child artist Iyal's dad extends thanks to Thalapathy Vijay, team: You made her feel comfortable

Thalapathy Vijay starrer Leo is ruling at the box office in the domestic market as the film is inching to surpass ₹250 crore mark. Apart from Vijay, the film also starred Trisha Krishnan and child artist Iyal, daughter of actor Arjunan. In the film, little Iyal played the role of Vijay's daughter Mathai. It seems she had great fun shooting the film with Vijay and Trisha as her father has penned a note thanking the Master actor and Leo team for taking care of Iyal.

On Tuesday, Arjunan took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to pen a heartfelt note thanking Leo's team for making his daughter "feel very comfortable and safe". He also thanked Vijay for the "love and care" he showered on his daughter. Towards the end of the note, he jokingly wrote, "Hope she didn't trouble you a lot".  

Arjunan has also shared two BTS photos from the sets of Leo. In the first image, Vijay can be seen holding Iyal in his arms. In the next, she can be seen hanging on his back. Arjunan's note read, "Thank you #TeamLEO you took care of her very well. made her feel very comfortable and safe. Thank you @actorvijay Sir for the amount of love and care you showed towards her.. IYAL had so many special lovable moments with you. hope she dint trouble u a lot."

To note, Arjunan has been part of several Tamil films such as Tik Tik Tik, Nambiar, Vanamagan Puriyaadha Pudhir and Theerkadarishi, among others.

Leo's box office performance

Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film has become the biggest grosser in the career of both director and Vijay. On the sixth day of its release, the film minted ₹31.50 crore, taking the total to ₹248.60 crore in India. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Mysskin, among others, in key roles.
