Taking to her Instagram handle, Nayanthara shared a set of two photos welcoming Mercedes Maybach to her home gifted by husband Vignesh Shivan.

Nayanthara turned 39 earlier this month, and days later, her husband gifted her a luxurious car. On Wednesday, the Jawan actress took to her social media handle to share the photos of her gift and thanked her husband for the "Sweetest gift". The actress celebrated her birthday on November 18.

Nayanthara welcomes the new addition to her garage

Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress shared a set of two photos welcoming Mercedes Maybach to her home. The base price of Mercedes Maybach begins at Rs 2.69 crore, while a top-end car costs Rs 3.40 crore. In the caption, she wrote, "WELCOME HOME YOU BEAUTY. Vignesh, My dear husband ,Thank u for the most sweetest Birthday gift. Love You."

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan's love story

Nayanthara and Vignesh met while working on the 2015 film, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which the latter had helmed. After dating for several years, the couple tied the knot in June 2022 and the same year in October, they welcomed their twin sons - Uyir Rudronil N Shivan and Ulag Dhaivag N Shivan - via surrogacy. Often, they express their love for each other on social media.

What's next for Nayanthara?

Nayanthara is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Annapoorani - The Goddess of Food which is helmed by debutant Nilesh Krishnaa. This marks the reunion of Jai and Nayanthara's film after their 2013 film Raja Rani. The film also features Karthik Kumar, Sathyaraj and KS Ravikumar, among others in key roles. The story revolves around Nayanthara's character who aspired to be a chef despite belonging to an orthodox Brahmin family. The film is set to hit the theatres on December 1.
