Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thalaivar 170 title, teaser out on former's birthday | Watch

Rajinikanth is celebrating his 73rd birthday today. On the occasion of the actor's birthday, the makers of his upcoming film Thalaivar 170 have unveiled the title and a teaser video of the film. The announcement of the same was done on the official X account of the film's production house Lyca production on the actor's birthday eve.

Thalaivar 170 title out

On December 12, the makers of Thalaivar 170 unveiled the title of the Rajinikanth starrer. The film is titled Vettaiyan. The makers also released a video, which started with a frame that showed Rajinikanth reading a book in style, later the frame shifted to the actor walking. 

What do we know about Thalaivar 170?

Thalaivar 170 will see the reunion of the two big stars Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan after 32 years. Their last film was Hum. The film will also see highly acclaimed actors from the Malayalam and Telugu industry coming together for the TJ Gnanavel film. Fahadh Faasil from the Malayalam industry and Rana Daggubati from the Telugu industry have also joined the cast.

What's more for Rajinikanth?

Rajinikanth, recently basked in the success of his film Jailer directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film earned over ₹600 crore at the global box office. Other than Thalaivar 170, the actor will also be seen making a special appearance in his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth's film Lal Salaam. The actor has also signed a film with Leo director Lokesh Kanagaraj, tentatively named Thalaiavr 171. Details about the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
