Rajinikanth, who is curently shooting for his upcoming film Vettaiyan, has been invited to attend an auspicious event in Ayodhya on January 22. According to a photo going viral on social media, the Jailer actor will be attending a Ram Temple event. For the unversed, Lord Ram will be consecrated in his child-like form (Ram Lalla) in the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22. The event is expected to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, popular cricketers, celebrities, industrialists, saints, and representatives from various countries.

Who is with Rajinikanth in the viral photo?

Officials including RSS South Organiser, South Bharat People's Secretary, and several others went to Rajinikanth's residence in Chennai to invite him at the Ram Temple event in Ayodhya on January 22. The rituals for the consecration ceremony will begin on January 16 and will last for seven days, until January 22. According to news agency ANI, the Temple trust has released the seven-day schedule of rituals.

Notable guests include Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Mukesh Ambani, Ratan Tata, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
