Rajinikanth, known for his previous spiritual journeys to the Himalayas, is now planning to explore more sacred caves. He recently left Chennai and arrived in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, to commence his journey. At the airport, he interacted with the media and shared insights of his spiritual retreats.
Rajinikanth embarks on a spiritual journey
At Dehradun airport, Rajinikanth spoke to ANI about his spiritual endeavors, saying, "Every year I gain new experiences that inspire me to continue my spiritual journey. I believe this time will be no different." Rajinikanth emphasised the significance of spirituality, stating, "The world needs spirituality as it is essential for every individual. Being spiritual brings peace and tranquility, fundamentally involving a belief in God."
Recently, he also visited the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi, with pictures and videos of his visit being shared on the temple's official social media accounts. The UAE's Department of Culture and Tourism granted Rajinikanth the prestigious golden visa.
Expressing his gratitude, Rajinikanth thanked the Abu Dhabi government and his friend, MA Yusuff Ali, chairman and managing director of Lulu Group, for their support in securing the visa. "I am deeply honored to receive the prestigious UAE Golden Visa from the Abu Dhabi government," he said in a viral video.

What's next for Rajinikanth?
Rajinikanth has completed filming his upcoming movie Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel and co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. This marks Rajinikanth's 170th film, scheduled for worldwide release in October this year. Earlier this month, Rajinikanth and Amitabh were spotted filming scenes together in Mumbai.
Rajinikanth's latest appearance was in his daughter Aishwarya's film Lal Salaam. This Tamil-language sports drama, addressing themes of caste oppression and religious discrimination, received mixed reviews. Lal Salaam stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles, with Rajinikanth making an extended cameo as Moideen Bhai.
